Hot Dogs

Hi friends!

I hope everyone is having an awesome summer!!! 

Being the advocate that I am for animals and children, I have a story to share with you.

Recently, I had the good fortune of meeting the president of our local SPCA.  It's a long story,but I had written a letter asking what could be done about people leaving their pets in hot vehicles.  He responded immediately, and we are already working on a case together. 

Leaving a defensless animal in hot car with the windows cracked is cruel.  I routinely call the authorities when I see this happening.  The inside of a car in the summer is at least twenty degrees hotter than the outside temperature, and the poor soul inside is wearing fur.  It's just wrong, people!  Leave your pets at home!

Anyway, I believe that in order to enact real, positive change in our society, we must speak up when we see abuse or wrongdoing.  How else will we ever end the cycle of abuse?

I'd love to hear your thoughts or stories on this issue. 

Do the right thing and defend the defenseless!
